In order to get to know who we are working with and to provide our customers the best possible service, we will need to know about our customers, such as their names, addresses, cell phone numbers, and email addresses to complete a new customer file. We will also inquire if you are the property owner or a tenant of rental property. All this information is required in order for us to provide you with formal written estimates, service billings, and paid receipts, as well as credit card verification, filing of required City and County Permits and Notice of Commencement papers for owners with City and County government offices. We may also refer to Public Records to verify ownership of properties.
Payment for services is required at the time services are rendered in Cash, Check, or Credit Card. Paid receipts will be provided electronically per email communications or by paper receipt when practical. Easy, secure, on line electronic payments system available.
Appointments will be scheduled electronically for service calls, emergency calls, estimates, and repairs by contacting the main office phone number for assistance – (727) 687-0404.
Appointment times are frequently subject to change due to emergencies and other circumstances and are not written in stone. We may finish with one customer early or another customer late and appointment times may need to be adjusted or rescheduled throughout the day. In those situations we will contact our customer.
We do not customarily provide plumbing repair instructions or recommendations over the phone or the internet. We provide you with our experience, technology, education, quality equipment, and licensed and insured expertise in the plumbing field, as a billable service to customers. We charge by the project not by the hour, (labor or materials). Often customers will be asked to send pictures of faucets to be repaired to be sure we have the specific and correct parts available for the service call.
We do not work week-ends or holidays. Exceptions for some water emergencies may be made for temporary resolve until a weekday appointment can be scheduled for complete repair service. Customers may leave emergency voice mail messages on 727-687-0404 which will be monitored on week-ends and holidays.
Field service hours are from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Office hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Estimates are scheduled as an onsite inspection to determine scope of services required and are provided to current property owners only. An estimate fee is $89.00 (and at the discretion of management) for formal letterhead quotes . The quote is forwarded electronically to the customer for acceptance before work is scheduled. If the work is awarded to us, a credit of $89.00 will be applied to the contract total. Estimate fees for returning customers may be waived at the owners’ discretion.
Warranty on products purchased by the customer need to be honored by the retailer the product was purchased from. We can only warranty our work and products that we supply and install. Kurt MacIntyre Plumbing makes no expressed or implied warranty of any kind for sewer video inspections and recommendations or assumes no liability for damages incurred during the excavation or work performed at the customer’s request in locating sewer or water lines, or locating slab or wall leaks. Product warranties will be honored and services completed to customer satisfaction.
